Journey inside moving life energy. Increase flexibility, relaxation, balance and concentration. Strengthen and enliven the body and spirit. Bring the inner smile out. Experience meditation in motion. Open to all levels. We warmup with Qigong and then transition to the Yang style long form Tai Chi set.

We will meet outside weather permitting, so please bring hat, sunglasses, windbreaker, etc.

Instructor, Fern Jeffcoat has taught Qigong and Tai Chi since 1993. She also practices and teaches Raja Yoga meditation. Fern combines movement, breathing and meditation to facilitate the integration of soul and body, which helps to ease into a state of health and wellness.

All human beings are filled with inner treasures of virtues, spiritual powers and wisdom, yet many of us do not realize what we possess inside of us. When we become still internally, we can tap into our treasure chest to discover the hidden gifts which we have forgotten. Stillness helps us to quiet the mind, speak clearly and to stabilize ourselves in the state of peace and contentment. Stillness also allows us to go deep into our subconscious and to uncover the Truth about ourselves.

Topics Covered:

  • Learn to tap into the subconscious and to draw the spiritual powers through silence
  • Stabilize the mind by focusing on it to create meaningful, purposeful & significant thoughts
  • Embrace situations and find solutions to obstacles and challenges
  • Go beyond the emotions and feelings and stay focused on the inner treasures of virtues

Facilitator: Kyoko Kimura, BA in Music Education and MA in flute performance. Kyoko is a resident of our San Francisco center and is a Raja Yoga practitioner and meditation teacher since 2000. She facilitates many workshops and retreats on virtues, Positive Thinking, Stress Free Living, Inner Beauty, Inner Bliss and Self-Empowerment.  She also teaches values lessons through music at public schools in San Francisco, and facilitates summer camps for children and adolescents in the greater Bay Area.

Why unravel some myths about love? It is a journey to self-understanding. Unless we understand ourselves we can’t truly manage our emotions and feelings. The struggles we experience in our relationships have more to do with us not understanding ourselves than anything else. If we want to understand ourselves then we need to enroll in the one real school; the school of our own consciousness.

Everything begins and happens in our own consciousness. Whatever we are seeing and experiencing right now is happening in our own consciousness. We take what we see and create an image of it in my mind. The image we create is influenced by how we perceive. This means that different people ‘seeing’ the same thing can experience it very differently.

Topics Covered:

  • Understand how to bring the light and power of love into all your relationships
  • Learn how to eliminate the one and only barrier to the discovery of love
  • Explore the secrets of how to ‘feel’ love anywhere anytime
  • Discover why happiness is impossible until you know the ‘truth about love’

Facilitator: Elizabeth Padilla has been studying and teaching Raja Yoga Meditation since 1985. She has facilitated retreats, workshops and value based programs, and is the program director at Anubhuti.
